Keep it simple: Move, breathe, meditate, and play.
I believe moving our bodies and learning to breathe properly can literally transform our lives. You know the old saying, "if you don't move it, you'll lose it" -- it's true. Exercise is the fountain of health. Staying mobile and agile keeps us physically fit, emotionally stable, and mentally sound — which helps us regulate our nervous system. As a longtime athlete, I experienced this on the tennis court growing up. After I had my son, exercise helped me out of PPD. I am passionate about helping people use exercise, breath-work, and meditation for a healthy life. Many people struggle today with overstimulation, societal/cultural pressures, and the loose life advice of "anything goes." We live in a society sick with consumption and convenience that peddles numbing and outrage as social currency. I believe our greatest currency is taking responsibility for our health and well-being. Is it easy? Heck, no. Is it worth it? Yes. Our children and their children will thank us for it.

True story: I took my first yoga class 15 years ago because a friend bribed me with a beer. I never knew my fingertips could sweat! I love to learn and have studied various styles of movement & breath-play over the last 9 years. My classes are inspired by flow state, "getting in the zone." What you’ll explore in class is a mix of functional movement and rhythm, aimed to keep your body mobile and agile for longevity. At the studio, you may be asked to introduce yourself or high-five your neighbor. I believe community is vital for our health — human connection is one of our greatest assets to a life well-lived. My prayer is for you to walk away feeling connected and inspired to meet the world with a great sense of clarity and purpose.

I’ve finally found my Sacramento studio for my holiday breaks!! I prefer a hot Vinyasa power flow with cool music and an epic instructor and that’s what I got here! I highly recommend Power Flow with Stephanie if you want a challenging class that leaves you sweaty and blissed out.

Well now I remember why my legs are so sore. She was like a sweet soft-spoken ninja that snuck a solid kick a— workout in. I liked it.
